Single rubber expansion joints Contract with Songjiang: Tongyi Project Development

Jinan Tongyi Enterprise Co., Ltd. is situated in the Jinbei Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of 100 million US dollars and a registered capital of 30 million US dollars. As an important partner of Shanghai Songjiang Group which excels in crafting single rubber expansion joints and spring vibration isolators，the project encompasses an expansive 300-acre land, envisioning the construction of 3 sterile beverage production lines, 2 bottle production lines, and 8 instant noodle production lines, alongside office buildings and other supporting facilities. Phase one of the construction spans approximately 134,000 square meters, focusing primarily on beverage and instant noodle production. The company boasts a portfolio of brands including Tongyi Green Tea, Tongyi Iced Black Tea, Tongyi Fresh Orange Juice, Assam Milk Tea, Tongyi 100, Lai Yitong, and Laotan Sauerkraut.

Contract Signing:
On March 24, 2011, Tongyi Enterprise (China) Co., Ltd. inked a deal with the People’s Government of Jiyang County to establish Jinan Tongyi Enterprise Co., Ltd.

Foundation Ceremony:
August 17, 2011, marked the official foundation-laying ceremony. Yan Rongzhu, member of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee, graced the occasion. Vice Governor Cai Limin declared the commencement of construction for Jinan Tongyi Enterprise Co., Ltd. Among the attendees were Chen Yong, Municipal Party Committee member and Secretary-General, Vice Mayor Qi Jianzhong, and Lin Cangsheng, President of Tongyi Group, who also participated in the groundbreaking ceremony.

Progress Update:
The main construction is progressing smoothly, with 45% of the project already completed. Anticipated completion and commencement of operations are slated for September 2012. The initiation of the Tongyi project stands as a significant milestone in Songjiang County’s and Jinbei Taiwan Industrial Park’s efforts to attract investment from Taiwan. Once operational, the project is poised not only to propel the rapid expansion of the county’s food and beverage industry chain but also to catalyze the swift development of complementary sectors such as printing and packaging, and agricultural product processing.

Annual total output value is forecasted to reach 1.5 billion yuan.
