The project owner is Chongqing Airport Group Co., Ltd., and the construction funds are sourced from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the People’s Government of Chongqing Municipality, and the self – raised funds of Chongqing Airport Group Co., Ltd. The T3B Terminal under construction is located within Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, with a total construction area of approximately 360,000 square meters. Taking into comprehensive consideration the usage requirements, load characteristics, site conditions, as well as the requirements for renewable energy applications in the Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings (Green Buildings) DBJ50 – 052 – 2020, the cold and heat sources of the central air – conditioning system for this project adopt a composite system combining centrifugal chillers and air – cooled heat pump screw units. According to the heating demand, a total of 12 air – source heat pump units are configured and installed at the four corners of the outdoor landscape platforms on the north and south sides of the L3 floor. These air – source heat pump units also serve as the cold source of the central air – conditioning system. When the total cooling capacity is insufficient, it will be supplemented by water – cooled variable – frequency centrifugal chillers.
